This Shipping Policy outlines our shipping practices, including methods, costs, delivery times, and handling of issues. By placing an order on the Site, you agree to these terms. We reserve the right to update this policy at any time; the most current version will be posted here. All shipments are fulfilled through our trusted distribution network, ensuring nationwide coverage from multiple U.S. facilities.

1. Shipping Destinations

We ship to all 50 U.S. states, including Alaska, Hawaii, and APO/FPO addresses, as well as all Canadian provinces and territories. Free shipping is available on orders over $50 to the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). Standard shipping rates apply to all other destinations and will be calculated and displayed at checkout before payment. International shipping outside North America is not currently available.

2. Shipping Methods and Carriers

We offer the following shipping options through major carriers such as USPS, UPS, FedEx, and our distribution network’s delivery services:

• Standard Shipping: Economical ground service, typically 3 business days click-to-delivery for most U.S. orders.
• Expedited Shipping: Faster 2-business-day air/ground service, available for an additional fee where supported. Overnight or priority options may be available on a case-by-case basis for expedited needs, but are not standard for all items. All shipments include real-time tracking. Signature confirmation is available upon request for high-value orders (over $500) at an additional cost.

3. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout based on product weight, dimensions (including volumetric weight), shipping distance (zone-based from the nearest distribution center), selected method, and destination. This ensures accurate, real-time pricing without hidden fees. We offer free standard shipping to the contiguous U.S. on orders over 50 (before tax). For orders under50 or to other destinations, costs start as low as $3.50 for lightweight items. Taxes and any applicable duties (e.g., for Canada) are excluded from base prices and added separately at checkout.

Examples for a typical order of 1–2 marine detailing products (0.62–5.28 lbs total, standard-size packaging):

• To contiguous U.S. (e.g., from a Midwest distribution center to East Coast): 3.50–7.50 for 1 item or 7.50–12.00 for 2 items (standard); 7.00–12.00 for 1 item or 13.00–20.00 for 2 items (expedited); free standard shipping over $50.
• To Alaska/Hawaii: 7.00–15.00 for 1 item or 15.00–24.00 for 2 items (standard, includes remote area surcharge).
• To Canada (e.g., Ontario): 5.25–11.25 for 1 item or 11.25–18.00 for 2 items (standard, plus duties/taxes estimated at 5–15% of order value). These are approximate rates as of September 2025 and may vary by exact location and carrier rates; final costs are confirmed at checkout. No minimum order quantity is required. Bulk or multi-unit orders may qualify for discounts.

4. Delivery Times

Delivery estimates are provided at checkout and begin once the order is processed (typically within 1 business day of payment). Times are in business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays) and represent click-to-delivery from order acceptance:

• Standard Shipping: 3 business days for contiguous U.S.; 5–7 business days to Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada (longer for remote Canadian territories).
• Expedited Shipping: 2 business days for contiguous U.S.; 3–5 business days to other areas. During peak seasons (e.g., holidays from mid-October to mid-January), delivery may take 1–2 additional days due to high volume, weather, or carrier delays. We do not ship hazardous materials, so no related delays apply. If delays occur, we will notify you via email with updates. Total time from order placement: 2–5 business days for standard contiguous U.S. shipments.

5. Order Tracking and Issues

Every order includes complimentary tracking, sent via email upon shipment. You can monitor progress directly on the carrier's website using the provided number. Shipping insurance is included up to the item's declared value (typically $100 maximum per package; higher coverage available for purchase at checkout).

For lost, damaged, or delayed shipments:

• Contact us at support@augustrace.us within 7 days of expected delivery (or upon receipt for damage) with your order number, tracking details, and photos if applicable.
• We will coordinate with the carrier for investigation (usually 3–10 business days). If the issue is due to our fulfillment process, we cover full replacement costs, including return shipping if needed. For carrier faults, reimbursement follows their policies (e.g., UPS claims process). We strive for a 97%+ on-time delivery rate but are not liable for unforeseeable carrier disruptions beyond reasonable resolution efforts.

6. Restrictions and Additional Notes

• Product Restrictions: Our marine detailing products are non-hazardous and standard-size, with no DOT-related limitations. Oversized or heavy orders (e.g., bulk quantities exceeding 50 lbs total) may incur freight shipping with custom quotes at checkout.
• Surcharges: Remote areas (Alaska, Hawaii, remote Canada) add 100–200% to base rates. Peak-season surcharges (October–January) may apply, increasing costs by up to 20% for expedited service. APO/FPO shipments follow standard military rates without extra fees.
• Taxes and Duties: All prices exclude sales tax, which is calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping address (e.g., Arizona state tax via Shopify). For Canada, GST/HST and duties are collected at checkout or upon delivery per carrier policy; you are responsible for any customs fees. We comply with Google's Merchant Center guidelines by clearly disclosing all additional fees.
