Refund policy

This Returns Policy ("Policy") governs all returns, refunds, and related processes for purchases made through the August Race USA online store at shop.augustrace.us (the "Site"), operated by 3 G International Supplies LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By placing an order on the Site, you ("Customer" or "you") agree to be bound by this Policy, which is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. We reserve the right to update this Policy at any time, with changes effective upon posting on the Site; continued use of the Site after such posting constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. This Policy is intended to comply with applicable Arizona consumer protection laws, including but not limited to the Arizona Uniform Commercial Code (A.R.S. Title 47), and does not affect any statutory rights you may have that cannot be waived or limited.

1. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return under this Policy, the following conditions must be satisfied in full:

  • Timeframe: Returns must be initiated within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of order placement as reflected in your account on the Site (the "Return Period"). Requests submitted after the expiration of the Return Period will be denied, and no exceptions will be granted absent our express written approval.
  • Product Condition: The item(s) must be returned in an as-new, unused condition, with all original packaging, labels, tags, accessories, and documentation intact and undamaged. Any item that has been opened, used, altered, or shows signs of wear, damage, or tampering (as determined by our inspection pursuant to Section 3 below) is ineligible for return.
  • Exclusions: The following items are non-returnable and ineligible for any refund or exchange under this Policy:
    • Items purchased on sale, clearance, or at a discounted price (including promotional offers).
    • Custom-ordered or personalized products.
    • Perishable or consumable goods, such as chemicals, fluids, or detailing supplies that have been opened or partially used.
    • Any other items explicitly designated as non-returnable on the product detail page or at checkout.
  • Geographic Restrictions: Returns are accepted only for orders shipped to and from addresses within the contiguous United States (excluding Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. territories). No returns will be processed for international shipments or orders originating outside the lower 48 states.

If an item does not meet these eligibility criteria, it will be returned to you at your expense, and no refund or credit will be issued.

2. Return Process

All returns must be initiated and processed exclusively through the Site to ensure accurate tracking and verification. We do not accept returns via unsolicited shipments or alternative methods.

  • Initiation:
    1. Log in to your account on the Site (shop.augustrace.us). If you did not create an account at the time of purchase, you may register a new account at any time using your order email and details.
    2. Navigate to your order history, select the eligible item(s), and submit a return request via the online returns portal, providing a brief reason for the return (e.g., "wrong size" or "changed mind").
    3. Upon submission, we will review your request within two (2) business days and notify you via email whether it has been approved.
    4. If approved, we will generate and email you a prepaid return shipping label. Affix the label to the original shipping packaging (or equivalent protective materials) and ship the item(s) back to the address specified on the label within seven (7) calendar days of label issuance. We cover the cost of return shipping for all approved returns; failure to ship within this timeframe may result in denial of the return.
  • Defective or Damaged Items:
    • For items received damaged, defective, or incorrect (e.g., manufacturing defects evident upon unboxing), do not initiate a standard return. Instead, email contact@augustrace.us within the Return Period, including your order number, detailed description of the issue, and clear photographs or video evidence of the defect/damage.
    • We will evaluate such claims on a case-by-case basis, which may include requesting additional information or authorizing a replacement, repair, or refund at our discretion. If approved, we will provide a prepaid return label or arrange for product collection at no cost to you. Items damaged post-delivery due to misuse, improper storage, or normal wear are not covered.
  • Processing Time: Once we receive and inspect the returned item(s) (pursuant to Section 3), we will process your refund within seven (7) to ten (10) business days. You will receive confirmation via email once processing is complete. Shipping times for any replacement items (if applicable) are subject to our standard delivery estimates.

3. Inspection and Condition Verification

Upon receipt of the returned item(s) at our warehouse, we will conduct a thorough inspection to verify compliance with the eligibility and condition requirements outlined in Section 1. Inspection criteria include, without limitation:

  • Visual and functional assessment for signs of use, damage, or alteration.
  • Confirmation that all components, packaging, and documentation are present and unaltered.
  • Verification against the original order details.

If the item fails inspection (e.g., due to opening, use, or damage attributable to you), the return will be denied, the item will be retained by us (with no refund or credit issued), and you will forfeit the 20% restocking fee (if already deducted). In such cases, we may, at our option, return the item to you at your expense or dispose of it as non-conforming goods.

4. Refunds and Fees

  • Refund Options: Approved returns qualify solely for a monetary refund to the original payment method used at checkout (e.g., credit card, debit card, or PayPal). We do not offer exchanges, store credit, or alternative compensation unless explicitly stated in writing for defective items.
  • Refund Amount: Refunds will equal the original purchase price of the eligible item(s), less:
    • A twenty percent (20%) restocking fee, calculated on the item(s) subtotal (excluding taxes and outbound shipping costs).
    • Any applicable taxes, if refundable under applicable law.
  • Timing and Deductions: Refunds will be initiated within the processing timeframe in Section 2 and typically reflect in your account within three (3) to five (5) business days thereafter, depending on your payment provider. Outbound shipping costs are non-refundable.

All refunds are subject to verification that the return complies with this Policy. We reserve the right to delay or withhold refunds pending investigation of suspected fraud, abuse, or non-compliance.

5. Warranties and Limitations

This Policy does not alter or expand upon any manufacturer warranties provided with the products (e.g., those from August Race Worldwide Limited), which you may enforce directly with the manufacturer as applicable. Our liability for defective items is limited to the remedies outlined in Section 2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, beyond what is expressly stated herein. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from misuse of returned or defective products.

6. General Provisions

  • Governing Law: This Policy shall be governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict of laws principles. Any disputes arising hereunder shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Maricopa County, Arizona.
  • Severability: If any provision of this Policy is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
